James River State Park

This park is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Gladstone, Va about 30 miles north of Appomatox. Visitors can hike, bike, canoe, kayak, fish or tent camp along the banks of the James River. There are cabins available to rent, a visitor center, gift shop, camp store, picnic shelters, multi-use trails, boat launches water/electric hook-up campground and equestrian camping.
